Karachi: Minister for Maritime Affairs, Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, convened a meeting to address the development of port infrastructure. The discussion in Karachi centered around key issues such as the blue economy, shipping, and fisheries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Sindh Governor emphasized that public-private partnerships in the maritime sector could unlock new developmental opportunities. He highlighted the significance of Karachi’s ports as pivotal to the nation’s economy, underscoring the importance of their modernization. The meeting also reviewed the progress of projects operating under the Public Private Partnership model in Gwadar, Karachi, and Port Qasim.
