Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Director of Turkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting in Bishkek. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on regional developments and matters of mutual interest, including the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and the inaugural meeting of its Strategic Political and Defence Committee.

According to Radio Pakistan, they also discussed recent developments in the region. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of continued coordination and diplomatic engagement for maintaining regional peace, security, and stability.

In addition to his meeting with Ibrahim Kalin, Ishaq Dar also engaged in a warm interaction with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev ahead of the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting.
