Islamabad: Investment opportunities in Pakistan's energy sector are expanding due to the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council. Pakistan has rapidly emerged as a key player among global solar markets, achieving an off-grid solar capacity of 12 gigawatts.

According to Radio Pakistan, an increase of over 6 gigawatts has been recorded in net-metered solar capacity, marking a significant achievement toward renewable energy targets. During the last fiscal year, 53 percent of electricity generation coming from renewable energy sources is a historic milestone.
