International Day of Charity was observed on Thursday.September 5th was chosen as International Day of Charity to honour Mother Teresa, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, for dedicating her life to helping the poor and alleviating humanitarian crises and human suffering through charity.She passed away on this date in 1997.Source: Radio Pakistan
