Interior Minister Urges Political Leadership to Build Consensus on Governance Reforms

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has urged Pakistan's political leadership to build consensus on fundamental governance reforms. He was addressing the First Pakistan Economic Summit in Islamabad today. The Minister stressed that the country's challenges cannot be resolved without strengthening the democratic system and devolving powers to the grassroots level.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that the nation's youth are seeking a transparent and merit-based system that guarantees justice, equal employment opportunities, and fair recruitment for public sector jobs. He further emphasized the necessity for all political parties to come together to form a consensus on key national issues. These include the creation of new administrative units, provincial matters, and other structural reforms.
