Islamabad:Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State Talal Chaudhry conducted a site visit to inspect the extension of Margalla Road to the motorway and the construction of the Sangjani Interchange.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that these projects are expected to offer residents of Islamabad an efficient alternative route to the motorway once completed.

The Interior Minister instructed the responsible authorities to expedite construction efforts by implementing double-shift operations to ensure timely completion. He mandated that the projects be finished by the end of this year.

Additionally, Mohsin Naqvi directed the Deputy Commissioner to eliminate all encroachments within a week and remove any obstacles hindering progress.

During the briefing, it was revealed that the Margalla Road to Sangjani Interchange project spans 2.7 kilometers, featuring an underpass and an interchange.
