Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has praised officers of the Information Service as the primary defenders of the nation's ideological frontiers. He articulated these sentiments during the 41st passing-out ceremony of the Specialized Training Program at the Information Service Academy in Islamabad. Tarar underscored the critical role of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, not only in the effective functioning of the government but also in promoting the country's positive international image and advancing its progress and development narrative.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister made a pointed reference to the recent Indo-Pak war, emphasizing that the conflict's initial battle was waged on the information front. He commended the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for its pivotal role in securing success during this challenging period. Tarar noted that the contributions of the information service were recognized at the highest levels, highlighting the ministry's strategic importance.
