Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has expressed Pakistan’s desire to further deepen its close cooperation with Germany. He was addressing a ceremony in connection with 35 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall in Islamabad today. During his speech, Tarar congratulated the people and government of Germany on this significant occasion.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar emphasized that thirty-five years ago, the people of Germany delivered a global message of peace, hope, and unwavering resolve. He noted that the fall of the Berlin Wall marked the beginning of a new era characterized by peace, progress, and prosperity. The Information Minister highlighted that diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Germany were established in 1951.
Tarar further elaborated that Pakistan and Germany maintain close cooperation in various sectors, including trade, energy, vocational training, education, health, and environment. He acknowledged Germany as a trusted partner of Pakis
tan, expressing gratitude for Germany’s cooperation in Pakistan’s socio-economic development. The Information Minister stated that projects completed with German cooperation are clear examples of the friendly ties between the two nations.
