Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has raised serious allegations against Indian troops, claiming that they are deliberately targeting and killing innocent Kashmiri youth. The actions, according to the APHC, are part of a broader strategy to discredit Pakistan and undermine the legitimate freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people.
According to Radio Pakistan, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas denounced these extrajudicial killings as a longstanding tactic employed by Indian forces in the occupied territory. The spokesman highlighted that these staged encounters are designed to delegitimize the indigenous movement for self-determination in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the situation in Ladakh remains tense as curfew and severe restrictions, including an internet blackout, have persisted for the sixth consecutive day. The region is grappling with the aftermath of brutal firing by Indian forces, which resulted in the deaths of four unarmed protesters and left around one hundred others injured in Leh district.
The funeral services for those killed were conducted under heavy restrictions, with only close family members permitted to attend, underscoring the ongoing tensions and human rights concerns in the area.
