Islamabad: In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupation forces have intensified raids and coercive operations making life increasingly miserable for local residents.
According to Radio Pakistan, Indian police conducted a fresh wave of cordon and search operations across multiple localities in Baramulla district. The operations, carried out jointly with Indian forces, are widely viewed as part of New Delhi’s policy to harass and intimidate the civilian population.
Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has warned that the situation created by over one million Indian troops in the territory has further deepened the sense of frustration among Kashmiris. Similarly, senior Indian opposition leaders, including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, said the Nowgam blast and the ongoing raids expose New Delhi’s failures in heavily militarized occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
On the other hand, the Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance have submitted a joint document of demands to the Indian government amid growing discontent in the Ladakh region of occupied Jammu and Kashmir over New Delhi’s refusal to address their demands. While the leaders did not disclose details ahead of submission, they said the document incorporates all major political and constitutional demands, including restoration of statehood.
