Islamabad: India has reportedly fired six ballistic missiles within its own territory, according to Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR). The missiles were launched from Adampur, with one targeting the general area of Adampur itself and the remaining five aimed at the Indian Punjab general area of Amritsar.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a media briefing held in the early hours of Saturday, Lieutenant General Chaudhry expressed concerns about India's actions, suggesting that they are part of a broader scheme targeting Sikh populations in Indian Punjab. He extended sympathies to Sikhs and other minorities who, he claimed, continue to face internal conspiracies and atrocities within India.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry described the missile launch as a shocking development and a provocation of the highest order. He questioned the rationale behind India firing ballistic missiles at its own population, deeming it an act that defies logic.
