Islamabad: A defence and cultural exhibition will be held in connection with Independence Day celebrations and the victory of Marka-e-Haq at Shakarparian Parade Ground in Islamabad on Thursday. The Parade Ground will be open to the general public from ten in the morning on Independence Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, cultural activities will be presented under Lok Virsa, highlighting the culture of all four provinces as well as Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Stalls by the armed forces will be set up at the defence exhibition, showcasing military equipment for public interest.
On this occasion, military bands will play national and patriotic songs throughout the day to instill patriotism in the people. Additionally, aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force will perform acrobatic displays alongside para-jumping demonstrations.
The main objective of this program is to provide every citizen of the country with an opportunity to celebrate this historic day in a fitting manner.
