Imran Shah Inaugurates Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Research Institute


Islamabad: Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, has announced that the government is taking all possible measures to ensure the provision of financial assistance to orphans, widows, the poor, and the needy. The announcement was made during a conference in Islamabad where the Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to social welfare.



According to Radio Pakistan, during his address at the conference, Minister Shah also highlighted plans to provide employment opportunities for the youth. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to combat poverty and enhance social safety nets across the country.



Earlier in the day, Minister Shah inaugurated the newly established Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Research Institute. The institute aims to contribute to research and development in various fields, further supporting the government’s efforts in fostering educational and economic growth.
