In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have deplored the genocide of Kashmiri Muslims by Indian troops to change demography of the territory.

The APHC leaders paid rich tribute to the victims of Shopian massacre on their 5th martyrdom anniversary which was observed on Saturday.

Six youth were martyred by the troops during a so-called cordon and search operation in Pahnoo area of Shopian district on this day in 2018.

In their statement in Srinagar, the APHC leaders, including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, said India has made the occupied territory the most militarized zone in the world where Indian troops have been engaged in the killing of innocent people for last over seven decades.

Meanwhile, political experts and analysts in their interviews and statements in Srinagar said the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is rendering the Kashmiris homeless in their own homeland on one pretext or another.

In a tweet, Peoples Democratic Party chief, Mehbooba Mufti said Narendra Modi-led BJP government wants to keep the pot boiling in occupied Jammu and Kashmir to garner more votes in elections in India.

On the other hand, Indian troops launched a massive cordon and search operation in several villages of Samba district in Jammu region. The operation continued till last reports came in.
