Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail over most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours. However, partly cloudy weather is likely in northern hilly areas, offering some respite from the heat.According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were quite varied. Islamabad experienced a temperature of twenty-three degrees centigrade, while Lahore and Karachi both recorded twenty-eight degrees. Peshawar was slightly cooler at twenty-seven degrees, Quetta recorded sixteen degrees, and Gilgit and Muzafarabad both observed twenty-two degrees centigrade. Murree, being a hill station, was cooler at fifteen degrees centigrade.In the region of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast suggests partly cloudy and dry conditions in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Morning temperatures in these areas were recorded at seventeen degrees centigrade in both Srinagar and Anantnag. Jammu was warmer with twenty-five degrees, whereas Leh was the coldest at ten degrees. Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula all had temperatures of sixteen degrees centigrade.
