A grand peace Jirga of notables and tribal elders was held in Bannu.The participants reiterated their commitment and support to Pakistan Army in the ongoing war against Fitna al-Khawarij.They paid rich tributes to the sacrifices rendered by security forces for the restoration of peace.General Officer Commanding Kohat Major General Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti also attended the Grand Jirga.The elders of the area thanked Pakistan Army for its efforts for promotion of education and health especially girls education in the area.Source: Radio Pakistan
