Minister for Energy, Sardar Awais Ahmad Leghari has the government, in collaboration with the Privatization Commission, will move forward with the privatization of DISCOs by April next year.Talking to a private news channel, he said he said that the first batch of Distribution Companies will have their Expression of Interest published in April 2025.He said that final transactions are expected to be completed within three to six months thereafter.Source: Radio Pakistan
