Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain says the government is paying special attention on electric and hybrid vehicles to reduce consumption of imported expensive fuel.Speaking at an event in Lahore today, he said that solarization is a priority for the government to increase share of alternate energy.He said that demand for electric vehicles has increased and the government will announce a policy in this regard by next month.Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the government has planned to give free electric motorbikes to students with out-standing performance.Source: Radio Pakistan
