Islamabad: Relevant government departments are continuing their crackdown against power pilferage. In a concerted effort to curb electricity theft, authorities have intensified their operations across the nation.According to Radio Pakistan, the latest statistics reveal that the crackdown has resulted in the recovery of a substantial 127.835 billion rupees. In addition to the financial recuperation, law enforcement agencies have apprehended more than eighty-six thousand individuals involved in electricity theft. This nationwide operation underscores the government's commitment to addressing power pilferage and ensuring efficient energy distribution.The ongoing efforts reflect a strategic approach to reducing losses in the power sector, which has been a significant concern for both the government and utility companies.
