GB Govt to Provide One-Window Operation Facility to Foreign Investors

Islamabad: A delegation of foreign investors has called on Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Amjad Hussain Advocate in Gilgit. Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister appreciated their interest and commitment to invest in the power sector of Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister mentioned that the provincial government has decided to launch projects under Public Private Partnership to promote international investment and provide a one-window operation facility to investors. He highlighted that feasibility reports for generating 4,000 MW of hydropower in Gilgit-Baltistan have been completed.

The Chief Minister encouraged investors to submit their proposals related to investment in the power sector to the concerned department. This initiative aims to streamline processes and attract more foreign investment to the region.
