Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik has stated that gas prices have not been increased.Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he mentioned that the current gas tariff would remain unchanged until the winter months of December and January.The Minister for Petroleum said fourteen rupees relief given by Punjab government on each unit for the consumers using up to five hundred units will cover ninety-eight percent households. He said the federal government earlier had announced a subsidy of fifty billion rupees for the consumers using up to two hundred units across the country.Commenting on the political situation, Musadik Malik urged the PTI to shun the politics of arson and anarchy and rather engage in the dialogue process to sort out the issues.Source: Radio Pakistan
