Lahore: The Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and Defence and Martyrs Day were observed by PBC News Bureau, Lahore on Saturday. A special cake-cutting ceremony was organized to mark the occasion.

According to Radio Pakistan, the event was attended by Controller News Sajjad Parvez, Station Director Dr. Ahmer Sohail Basraa, Deputy Controller News Ather Rasool, Former Controller News Abraham Kawan, and other staff members. The ceremony highlighted the significance of learning from the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in all aspects of life.

The speakers at the event paid tribute to the services rendered by the armed forces in defending the nation since independence. Special prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the progress and prosperity of the country.
