Efforts afoot to provide best services to Pakistani pilgrims in KSA: MORA


The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is taking concrete steps for providing best service delivery to Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia during this year Hajj.

According to a Spokesman of the Ministry, selection of Hajj Moawineen has been completed for the first time through testing service.

He said exams were also conducted by Testing Service to maintain transparency in their selection. Similarly, services of testing authority were also procured for placement of doctors and medical staff in Saudi Arabia.

The Spokesman of the Ministry said 47,000 candidates participated in the written exam for 550 seats of Hajj Assistants, while 9,000 doctors and paramedical staff gave written exam for 400 seats of Hajj Medical Mission.

According to the Hajj policy, separate merit has been kept for civil and uniformed officers and staff, including fresh and experienced assistants

Similarly, separate marks were kept for candidates’ psychological tendency, basic intelligence, Hajj/IT knowledge and physi
cal fitness for selection.

The Spokesman said on these grounds, the petitions filed in courts against Ministry of Religious Affairs’ new move have been dismissed.
