The Election Commission of Pakistan has conducted elections in a peaceful way despite numerous challenges.The ECP Spokesman, in a statement today, said the EMS system installed for result preparation in the offices of Returning Officers worked satisfactorily.The spokesman said EMS system was not dependent on connectivity that is why ROs couldn't send electric data due to closure of cellular signals owing to security threats.He said there was a mixed trend of results and no party benefited or suffered in any way in the areas where the election results were delayed.The spokesman said despite challenges and difficulties the Election Commission of Pakistan was able to keep the election process peaceful and orderly on the polling day.Source: Radio Pakistan
