Islamabad: Dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, while cold conditions are anticipated in hilly areas during morning and night hours in the next twelve hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, due to the persistent dry weather and atmospheric pollution, districts in eastern Punjab will remain under the influence of smog. Citizens are advised to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from potential health risks.
The temperature recorded in major cities this morning was as follows: Islamabad at thirteen degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-one, Karachi at twenty-four, Peshawar at sixteen, Quetta at nine, Gilgit at six, Murree at ten, and Muzaffarabad at fourteen degrees centigrade.
In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar. Partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain is predicted for Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while dry weather is anticipated in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning were: Srinagar at nine degrees centigrade, Jammu at eighteen, Leh at zero, Pulwama and Shopian at eight, and Anantnag and Baramula at seven degrees centigrade.
