Dry Weather Expected Across Most Parts of Country: PMD


Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain-wind and thunderstorms are anticipated at isolated locations in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.



According to Radio Pakistan, the morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad at fifteen degrees centigrade, Lahore at nineteen, Karachi at twenty-seven, Peshawar at seventeen, Quetta at ten, Gilgit at twelve, Murree at nine, and Muzaffarabad at eleven degrees centigrade.



The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Morning temperatures in these areas were recorded as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramulla at eight degrees centigrade, Jammu at seventeen, Leh at two, and Pulwama and Shopian at seven degrees centigrade.
