According to Radio Pakistan, in New York, Ishaq Dar will chair a high-level Open Debate focused on 'Promoting International Peace and Security through Multilateralism and Peaceful Settlement of Disputes'. This debate aims to explore methods to reinforce multilateralism and enhance diplomacy for resolving disputes peacefully.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister will preside over the Quarterly Open Debate of the Security Council concerning the 'Situation in the Middle East including the Palestinian Question'. This discussion underscores the ongoing focus on Middle Eastern issues within the international community.
Ishaq Dar is also scheduled to lead a high-level briefing of the UN Security Council, concentrating on boosting cooperation between the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
