Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has appreciated Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi for clarifying Iran's position regarding recent media reports. In a post on social media platform X, Ishaq Dar thanked Abbas Araghchi for his clarification, describing him as a "Dear Brother."According to Radio Pakistan, earlier, in a statement on his X handle, the Iranian Foreign Minister said Iran's position is being misrepresented by the US media and expressed deep gratitude to Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts. He stated that Iran has never refused to go to Islamabad and emphasized that the priority remains achieving a conclusive and lasting end to the "illegal war" imposed on Iran. Abbas Araghchi concluded his statement with the slogan "Pakistan Zindabad."Meanwhile, Pakistan's Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi has termed the statement of the Iranian Foreign Minister a timely reminder.
