Deputy Prime Minister Departs for Moscow to Attend SCO Council Meeting


Moscow: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has departed for Russia to participate in the SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting, which is set to begin in Moscow today. The Deputy Prime Minister will represent Pakistan at this significant gathering.



According to Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar will address the SCO Council of Heads of Government, presenting Pakistan’s views on key regional and global matters and discussing strategies to enhance the Organization for the benefit of the SCO region. In addition to his address, the Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with leaders from other SCO member countries on the sidelines of the meeting.



The meeting will witness participation from the Heads of Government of Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the Vice President of Iran and the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and India.
