Chiniot: The flood situation in Chenab River at Chiniot and Head Trimmu is getting critical after increase of upstream water nearing to four hundred and five thousand cusec. The district administration Jhang and Chiniot have mobilized all available resources to deal with the situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, rescue teams, health workers, and relief organizations are actively engaged in evacuation and distribution of essential supplies to the affected population.
