Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar says Pakistan has a long and strong friendship with China and both countries have stood together in all testing times.Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he said the friendship between Pakistan and China is passing on from generation to generation.He said CPEC energy projects have played a pivotal role in overcoming energy crisis in Pakistan.The Information Minister said inflation rate has declined to 6.9 percent in the country, policy rate has also reduced. He said we are introducing economic reforms in the country.Attaullah Tarar expressed gratitude to Chinese leadership and companies for extending support to Pakistan for achieving economic growth.He expressed the hope that Phase two of China Pakistan Economic Corridor will prove to be a game changer for the entire region through establishment of industrial zones.He said Chinese Premier Li Qiang is visiting Pakistan after eleven years to participate in the SCO summit, which is a ma tter of great pride and jubilation for the people of Pakistan.Speaking on this occasion, Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb said China played a major role in advancing energy projects in Pakistan through CPEC.He said Pakistan's economy is moving in the right direction.
