Commerce Minister Vows to Facilitate Foreign Investors


Karachi: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to provide a conducive business environment to foreign investors. Presiding over a high-level meeting with a delegation from the American Business Council in Karachi today, Jam Kamal stated that the American business community is a valued and long-standing partner in Pakistan’s economic journey.



According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal emphasized that the government is actively pursuing policy reforms aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business, ensuring regulatory stability, and facilitating greater foreign direct investment. These reforms are designed to attract and retain foreign investors by creating a favorable economic climate.



During the meeting, President of the American Business Council, Akram Wali Muhammad, highlighted the council’s role as the single largest private chamber in Pakistan. He noted its steadfast partnership across various sectors including pharmaceuticals, energy, and IT, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the American business community and the Pakistani government.
