Cold and Dry Weather Predicted Across Country with Light Precipitation in Some Areas

Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry, partly cloudy weather is expected over most parts of the country, while very cold conditions will prevail in hilly areas during the next twelve hours. Light rain and light snow are likely at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northern Balochistan during the evening and night.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning was nine degrees centigrade in Islamabad and Peshawar, thirteen in Lahore, and seventeen in Karachi. Quetta and Murree registered zero degrees, while Gilgit was at minus one, and Muzaffarabad recorded three degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy and very cold conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with cold and partly cloudy weather in Jammu. The morning temperatures recorded were minus one degree centigrade in Srinagar, nine in Jammu, minus thirteen in Leh, minus three in Pulwama and Baramula, and minus two in Anantnag and Shopian.
