Islamabad: Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema has reiterated the government’s commitment to fiscal, energy, and economic reforms, emphasizing a focus on policies that deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes for the country. He made these remarks during a meeting with the newly appointed Country Director of the World Bank, Bolormaa Amgaabazar, who visited him in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that the Federal Government, with the support of the World Bank and other development partners, is actively facilitating provincial governments in the execution of development projects. This collaboration aims to ensure that the projects are implemented effectively and contribute to the nation’s economic progress.
Ahad Cheema expressed confidence in the new Country Director’s ability to continue playing a crucial role in the development and implementation of the Country Partnership Framework. The framework is designed to align with national priorities and enhance the effectiveness of development initiatives across the country.
