Cabinet Committee approves strengthening bilateral relations b/w Pakistan, UAE in Maritime Sector

The Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions has recommended the draft Framework Agreement to the Federal Cabinet for approval amid to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates in Maritime Sector.

The approval was given during a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions, chaired by Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir Khan, Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister of State for Petroleum Mr. Musadik Masood Malik and other senior officers attended the meeting.

The Cabinet Committee considered summary of Ministry of Maritime Affairs about the Framework Agreement between United Arab Emirates and Pakistan with aim to further strengthen the relations between the two countries in the Maritime Sector.

The Committee discussed the recommendations of the Framework Agreement Committee for agreement under Inter Governmental Commercial Transaction Act 2022.
