Prime Minister's Coordinator on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has said empowering disaster-vulnerable communities with resources and skills is vital for better response during calamities.Addressing an event in Islamabad today (on Monday), she said equipping individuals with skills and resources can lead to sustainable livelihoods after a disaster.The Coordinator said communities, infrastructure and ecosystems are interconnected and building resilience in one area positively impacts the other, creating a more sustainable and adaptive environment overall.Source: Radio Pakistan
