Lahore: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has affirmed the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability. He emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and selfless national service during his address to officers at Lahore Garrison.
According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Asim Munir was briefed on the formation’s operational preparedness, training standards, and key initiatives aimed at enhancing combat efficiency. He reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy towards any threat to national security, emphasizing the institution’s determination to confront challenges with focus and professionalism.
The Chief of Defence Forces also observed a specialized field training exercise that highlighted the Army’s dedication to innovation and adaptability in the face of evolving battlefield dynamics. Additionally, he inspected the sports and recreational facilities available to troops, stressing their importance in maintaining physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.
During his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir also toured a High Care Center at CMH Lahore, where he commended the medical staff and administration for establishing a fully equipped, state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
