Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the Modi government for spreading blatant lies about peace and normalcy in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to mislead the international community.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement issued in Srinagar, the spokesman of APHC, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, expressed serious concern over unfounded claims by the Indian political and military leadership of an ‘improving security situation.’ He stated that the entire territory remains under a heavy military and police siege.
He also condemned the recent threatening statements by Indian army officials and BJP leaders, calling them highly provocative and dangerous. The APHC also hailed recent remarks of Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to providing moral, political, and diplomatic support to the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, in Ladakh, defying severe restrictions, residents of Kargil staged a defiant silent march to protest against New Delhi’s oppressive policies in the region. The protest was called by the Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance as part of their ongoing agitation for political rights snatched after India’s illegal abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.
