Peshawar:Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, has emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the development and prosperity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, Amir Muqam, speaking at a news conference in Peshawar, called for an All Parties Conference to address the issues facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He expressed serious concern about the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, noting the significant sacrifices made by the people in the fight against terrorism. Muqam highlighted that weak governance is contributing to a decline in business, trade, and tourism activities in the region.

Regarding a proposed long march towards Islamabad, Amir Muqam stated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have rejected it and assured that the federal government remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of the public.
