All Arrangements Finalized for Peaceful Polling in Muzaffarabad: Raja Shakeel

Muzaffarabad: In Muzaffarabad, all-out arrangements are in place for the peaceful conduct of the polling process tomorrow. Addressing a news conference in Muzaffarabad this evening, Secretary AJK Election Commission Raja Muhammad Shakeel and Senior Member Muhammad Ahsan urged the people to actively participate in the polling process to elect representatives of their choice.

According to Radio Pakistan, Raja Muhammad Shakeel emphasized the importance of polling as a democratic expression of opinion by the public. He highlighted that this process enables citizens to influence the making or amending of laws through their elected representatives. Senior Member AJK Election Commission Muhammad Ahsan reported that the first phase of elections in Mirpur division recorded a significant turnout of 46 percent, surpassing the usual 40-42 percent.

Muhammad Ahsan also stated that there is peace and normalcy in Muzaffarabad, and the polling staff and materials have started arriving at their designated polling stations. He encouraged the people to actively participate in the polling process, similar to their involvement in the first phase in Mirpur.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary AJK Election Commission Raja Muhammad Shakeel assured that there are no law and order problems in Muzaffarabad. He mentioned that the deployment of law enforcement agencies will remain consistent with the arrangements made in Mirpur to ensure the peaceful conduct of elections.
