Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has underscored the government’s strategic vision to transform the country’s educational landscape in alignment with global standards. He was speaking at the launching ceremony of the Model Assessment Framework, organized by the Inter Board Coordination Commission in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized the crucial role of teacher training in achieving quality education. He announced the plan to establish a state-of-the-art teacher training institute in Islamabad, highlighting this step as an essential move towards improving educational outcomes.
Ahsan Iqbal also stressed the importance of decentralizing authority to empower districts and foster innovation. This approach, he noted, aims to meet the highest standards of educational quality by granting more autonomy at the local level.
The Minister further highlighted the effectiveness of the Five Es Framework, describing it as the cornerstone of the government’s education reform strat
egy. This framework is designed to ensure equitable access, enhanced quality, efficient governance, and empowered communities across the educational sector.
