556th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Concludes at Nankana Sahib


Nankana sahib: The 556th birth anniversary celebrations of the founder of the Sikh religion, Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, concluded at Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib today. The event was marked by the participation of Sikh Yatrees from both Pakistan and abroad, who gathered to perform religious rituals in honor of the revered spiritual leader.



According to Radio Pakistan, more than two thousand Sikh Yatrees from India crossed into Pakistan through the Wagha Border to take part in the celebrations. The main ceremony, known as Bhog Akhand Paath Sahib, was graced by the presence of Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and Minister of State for Religious Affairs Khel Das Kohistani.



Following the conclusion of the festivities at Nankana Sahib, the pilgrims are set to proceed to Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hassan Abdal. They will spend a day there before making their way to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur on Saturday, continuing their spiritual journey and honoring the legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
