22nd Death Anniversary of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan Commemorated Nationwide


Muzaffargarh: The 22nd death anniversary of the revered politician, Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, is being observed today. Born on November 13, 1916, in Khangarh town of Muzaffargarh district, Nawabzada Nasrullah began his political career in 1930 by joining Majlis-e-Ahrar-e-Islam.



According to Radio Pakistan, Nawabzada Nasrullah was elected as the secretary general of All India Majlis-e-Ahrar-e-Islam in 1945. Following the partition in 1947, he joined the Muslim League, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his political journey.



Nawabzada Nasrullah, affectionately known as ‘Baba-e-Jamhooriat,’ dedicated his life to the promotion and fortification of parliamentary democracy in Pakistan. His relentless efforts and contributions to the democratic framework of the country have left a lasting legacy. Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan passed away on this day in 2003 at the age of 85.
