Islamabad, January 28, 2019 (PPI-OT): Zulfikar Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development visited Omron Labour Camp in Dubai. This was his second visit to a labour camp in the region. The arrival of the Pakistani Minister proved to be a pleasant surprise for Pakistani workers, says a press release received here today from UAE.
Zulfikar Bukhari went inside the labour camp and personally asked individuals about the facilities that were being provided and about the problems that they had been facing. On this occasion, he said that Pakistani expats are the most valuable assets of our country. Noticing the smiling faces he said, if my visit can bring smiles on their faces, I will visit every labour camp to meet every Pakistani worker anywhere in the world”.
Zulfikar Bukhari also said that we are running a campaign to create awareness about sending money through legal channels and about the benefits that Pakistan can reap through such process. Every worker or businessman who lives and works outside Pakistan will have to play a part in bringing about the change we have envisioned for Pakistan. On the occasion, a Musical Night was organized by the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) to entertain Pakistani workers. At the end of the musical night, Zulfikar Bukhari distributed gifts to the workers sponsored by NBP.
