Srinagar, October 03, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Kashmiri Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK), Zamruda Habib visited Welgam area of Islamabad and expressed solidarity with the parents of an illegally detained youth, Sabzar Ahmed Palla.
Zamruda Habib after meeting the aggrieved parents, in a statement demanded release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists before Eid-ul-Azha.
She said that Sabzar Ahmed Palla had been languishing in jail for last 12 years and the illegally detained Kashmiri could not be left alone. She said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri people for the Kashmir cause would not go waste.
Zamruda Habib also appealed to the world community and the international human rights organizations to take notice of the plight of illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists and put pressure on India to release them before Eid so that they could celebrate this auspicious occasion with their families.
