Karachi, December 31, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said New Year 2013 is going to be an important year for Pakistan as the country is going witness the first civilian government to complete its full five year term since Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s term in office.
He appealed to the nation to receive the New Year with ‘commitment and courage’ to strengthen democracy.
In his message on the New Year, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said we have kept our heads down past five years to ensure that democratic system takes roots putting short term political interests aside in order to insure this important milestone was met.
He said faced with some worst challenges in the contemporary world including extremism and terrorism and only unity through working together of all the political parties and all the national institutions can we address these issues. He said that next year elections are going to exhibit the collective wisdom of the people of Pakistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also wished the best to the people, workers and leaders of Pakistan People’s Party and hoped 2013 will bring happiness, joy, safety and improvement in the lives of every individual.
