Yasin Malik, Zafar Akbar denounce settlement plan

Srinagar, August 02, 2015 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt have said that the settlement of retired army men and their families in Kashmir is actually a joint conspiracy of Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges who want to change demography of Jammu Kashmir to strengthen illegal occupation of India over the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said the people of Jammu and Kashmir reject all such plans and will resist all these ill designs with unity. “Criminal silence of Mufti regime and other pro-India parties on recent orders of Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parikar is a proof of this,” he added.

Yasin Malik was reacting to a recent statement of Manohar Parikar regarding the settlement of retired Indian army men in Kashmir. Malik said that Indian rulers and their Kashmiri puppets had been from a long time trying to weaken the special status of Jammu Kashmir and time and again conspiracies were being hatched to change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir.

All this is done to strengthen the illegal occupation of India over Jammu and Kashmir, he maintained. He said that these efforts have been accelerated after the establishment of the RSS led rule in Delhi and Kashmir. He said sometimes issue of state subject law is raised and someday we hear about giving permanent citizenship to West Pakistan refugees. “Now Indian rulers are announcing a new program of settling army men and their families in Kashmir.

He said that the silence of National conference, PDP, Congress and all other small and big pro-India parties and leaders on these vital issues was criminal. He cautioned Indian rulers and their puppets that people Kashmir would not allow these ill designs and plans to succeed and all these efforts would meet a stiff resistance from the people of the territory. Meanwhile, Zafar Akbar Butt in his statement said that puppet regimes for their petty political and personal gains had from time to time collaborated with their masters in Delhi to work for the complete merger of Kashmir with India.
