World Oral Health Day being observed on Saturday

Islamabad, March 20, 2021 (PPI-OT): World Oral Health Day is being observed today across the country like elsewhere around the globe. In his message on the occasion, President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the countrymen to adopt the oral hygiene habits as regular brushing of teeth could help prevent different diseases.

He said around twenty Ahadith of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatam-un-Nabiyyin Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Aalehi Wassalam guide the followers about oral hygiene. The President said that March 20 has been declared as World Oral Health Day consequent to his efforts and it was the Pakistani leadership behind the idea to observe this day.
