Srinagar, December 22, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairperson of Muslim Khwateen Markaz Jammu and Kashmir, Yasmeen Raja, has said that the world has realised the urgency of resolving the Kashmir dispute for ensuring permanent peace in South Asia. Yasmeen Raja, presiding over a meeting of her party activists in Srinagar said that the Kashmir dispute could be resolved by implementing the relevant UN resolutions.
Appreciating the positive role played by Pakistan towards finding an amicable solution to the lingering dispute, she said that the country had always advocated the settlement of the problem in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The participants of the meeting paid glowing tributes to Kashmiri martyrs including those who were recently killed by Indian troops at Saidpora in Sopore during a military operation. On the occasion, special prayers were held for the early liberation of Kashmir and Palestine.
