WHO: 728 people died of cholera in Yemen

Aden (IINA) � A total of 728 people have died as a result of the outbreak of cholera epidemic in Yemen, the World Health Organization (WHO) wrote on Twitter.

More than 91,000 of suspected cholera cases and 728 deaths were recorded in Yemen, the UN health agency tweeted, adding that efforts must be scaled-up now to contain the outbreak.

On May 15, the legitimate government of Yemen imposed a state of emergency in connection with the outbreak of the cholera epidemic in the country.
